The Product Manager will be part of an innovative build team designing a state of the art, greenfield platform for our Health & Benefits customers. This role is responsible for contributing to product strategy and delivery including generating actionable content, collaborating with teams, managing ambiguity and driving outcomes. This role guides a team of engineers, designers, architects and quality assurance analysts with a single focus on developing a solution that delights and delivers value. This role will be defining and managing a product roadmap and feature backlog for a specific build team and will report to the Director, Product Management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducts and/or consumes market research and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and threats.
Habitually conducts and/or participates in end user interviews, focus groups, user testing and rapid experimentation to ensure solutions are exceeding the needs of customers
Develops a product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
Defines product requirements and features with detailed specifications.
Collaborates with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Prioritizes features and improvements, making trade-offs as needed.
Leads go-to-market activities, including collaborating with marketing to craft messaging, positioning, and launch strategies.
Monitors and reports on product performance post-launch, recommending iterative improvements based on feedback and data.
Uses analytics and data insights to make informed product decisions.
Tracks product usage, customer satisfaction, and business metrics to assess product performance.
