Process Engineer (Manufacturing)
1. Develop and improve manufacturing methods consistent with the principles of scientific mold and process control. 2. Manage plant, equipment, and process improvement projects, as assigned. 3. Manage the process to optimize press cycle time and consistency. 4. Assist in the development and manufacture of new tools to minimize 'time to market' while maximizing cost effectiveness. 5. Collaborate with operations, technical and hourly personnel to optimize processes. 6. Participate in the selection of processes and mold design considerations for new products. 7. Promote LEAF and employee engagement activities to create and maintain a positive work environment. 8. Lead various scrap improvement activities. 9. Other duties as assigned.
Performance Measures and Outcomes 1. Safety metrics 2. Scrap / Lbs processed 3. Mold change time and compliance.
Education/Certification Level Required Level Desired Description Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field Experience to be considered in lieu of education RJG Training Certifications - Master Molder I & II
Work Experience Required Desired • 1-3 years of relevant work experience • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
