Preschool Teacher Assistant (Finance)

Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Position Summary:
Seeking applicants interested in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. This role consists of assisting in the planning and implementation of inquiry-based curriculum for preschool age children through developmentally appropriate learning experiences utilizing the Project Approach as a framework. Assistant teachers help to prepare the classroom environment, support children's learning, documents and assesses children's learning, and engages with parents to maintain a partnership between school and home through open and cooperative communication.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience with childcare and/or customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or a CDA, with one to three years of experience teaching children and working with families.
