Position Summary
The BSA CTR Specialist is responsible for all of the enterprise-wide Currency Transaction Reporting and adhering to the Bank's BSA/AML/USA Patriot Act and OFAC Program and Procedures.
What You'll Do
Review daily Currency Transaction Reports to ensure necessary information has been recorded for cash transactions according to the Bank's BSA/AML Policies and Procedures.
Determine CTR filings through proper documentation and resolution
Prepare CTRs for submission for all Wintrust Charters
Ensure the required information for the currency transactions exceeding $10,000 is submitted to the Internal Revenue Service within required timeframe
Assist charter locations with issues related to BSA/AML software and/or Currency Transaction Reporting
Perform quality control for various related functions
Assist with other BSA duties
Qualifications and Experience
2 - 3 years banking experience
Working knowledge of various laws, regulations, and guidance as it relates to BSA, AML and OFAC
Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
General Computer Skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
