We are currently seeking a Support Services Technician to join the IT team in our Charlotte regional office. A successful candidate will need to be customer focused, organized and have strong communication skills. This will be essential for interacting with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries.
What You Will Do:
- Respond promptly to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically, or face to face.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and requests.
- Research questions using available information resources.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues / requests.
- Advise customer on appropriate action.
- Record details of inquiries and requests as well as actions taken
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Follow-up on customer interactions
- Redirect requests to the appropriate resource
- Identify and escalate situations requiring immediate attention
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates
What You Will Bring:
- 2-3 years of experience
- Minimum of an associate's degree in an information technology field or comparable work experience
- This position will require a basic knowledge of the following: Windows 11 Operating Systems, O365 applications, Active Directory and Service Now or other support applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
