Coordinated Entry Program Specialist (Administrative)
Contra Costa County Homeless Program's mission is to ensure an integrated system of care, from prevention through intervention, for homeless individuals and families within our community. In line with our mission, Contra Costa County's Coordinated Entry system serves to streamline access to housing and services while addressing barriers that prevent people from getting and staying housed.
The Program Specialist for the Coordinated Entry System (CES) will be a key member in supporting the CES Program Manager of the Contra Costa Homeless Program in the implementation and on-going administration, development, and continuous improvement of Contra Costa's coordinated entry system. The Program Specialist is responsible for supporting care coordination of CE providers in Contra Costa, acting as the role of ombudsman for CE complaints and grievances, meeting facilitation and general CE support.
Salary: $30.29 - $37.63 Hourly

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Education: Possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration, Counseling, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of two years of full-time experience or its equivalent providing direct service delivery in housing, and/or homeless services and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience or its equivalent coordinating and developing housing/homeless services in an administrative capacity.
Substitution: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a Social and Behavioral Science (Psychology, Social Welfare, Sociology, etc.) , a minimum of three years' full-time experience or its equivalent providing direct service delivery in homeless services and two years of full-time experience or its equivalent coordinating and developing housing/homeless services in an administrative capacity.
Substitution for the required academic major: Either one (1) year of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience performing administrative duties in a health service agency or program, or possession of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Administration, Welfare Administration, Finance, or Law or a closely related field may be substituted for the academic major.
