PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position administers Blue Bird, Cummins, Ford, Roush, and Allison warranty programs in a manner which ensures compliance with established Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines, while recommending procedure and policy changes to minimize warranty residual expense.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Customer Relations - 20%
Administrative - 70%
Technical - 8%
Supervision/Leadership - 2%
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
Education:
Two (2) year or four (4) year college graduate or high school graduate with minimum of three (3) years of experience in service-related position.

Physical:
Must be able to work for extended periods while seated. Must have the ability to clearly communicate with internal/external customers on the phone or in person.
Outstanding customer relations and a pleasant personality are necessary.
Must be PC literate with advanced skills in Microsoft applications, as well as database management.
Other:
Mechanical and technical aptitude is a plus.

initStaticMap(true); PRIMARY FUNCTION:\n \nThis position administers Blue Bird, Cummins, Ford, Roush, and Allison warranty programs in a manner which ensures compliance with established Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines, while recommending procedure and policy changes to minimize warranty residual expense. \n \nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\n \n\nPrepares and files warranty claims in accordance with established OEM and vendor guidelines.\nEnsures accuracy and completeness of warranty claims.\nDetermines appropriate course of action and applicable warranty provision for each submitted service repair.\nAscertains accuracy and applicability of submitted warranty support documentation.\nCoordinates the return of warranty parts to respective OEM or vendor.\nReviews warranty statement each month to reconcile debits and credits. \nUpon denial of a claim and/or portion of a claim, negotiates with OEM or vendor to submit additional justification to maximize reimbursement opportunity (if applicable). \nReviews relevant warranty reports to identify trends or administrative shortfalls which need to be addressed to maximum warranty recovery rate. \nSupports Territory Service Manager, Service Department Manager, and Service Advisor by sharing knowledge of warranty administration guidelines, policies, and procedures.\n\n \nCustomer Relations - 20%\nAdministrative - 70%\nTechnical - 8%\nSupervision/Leadership - 2%\n \nMINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:\n \nEducation: \n \nTwo (2) year or four (4) year college graduate or high school graduate with minimum of three (3) years of experience in service-related position.\n \nWork Experience: \n \n(See Above)\n \nPhysical:\n \nMust be able to work for extended periods while seated.
