Project Manager - Ground Division (Project Management)
The Project Manager will set deadlines and assign responsibilities for each project. They are responsible for ensuring deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
Job Duties:
Meet with customers to review projects and understand scope and timelinesComplete oversight of the project from start to finishWork directly with all trades on detailed scopes of workManage Project Coordinators and oversee Installers within regionDevelop detailed project schedules and ensure that all aspects of the project stay on track for on-time deliveryCoordinate meetings between customers, vendors, subcontractors and client personnel; prepare materials and draft minutesAdjust project schedule, notify other departments as neededCreate customer estimates and quotes as neededOversee all subcontractors, vendors, and contractors for compliance quality, safety, cost, and timeliness requirementsMaintain a close interface with the customer and project management office, regarding schedules, quality and standardsManage project change orders, and timely, accurate invoicingUnderstand and monitor the projects, on-time delivery, revenue, and margin qualityCommunicate change orders to the customer and/or Manager in a timely mannerUnderstand and implement customers standards of safety, installation quality, processes and communication methodsUnderstand and enforce clients standards of professionalism, quality, safety, metrics, and processesAccurately track all time, expenses and reporting using the approval methodsCreate and transmit all kick-off and closeout documentation, floor plans, schematics and specifications relevant to projectsCollaborate with design professionals, subject matter experts and other resources to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of all projectsCultivate customer relationships and identify new business opportunitiesWill require some travelingThe above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Qualifications:
2-year degree or equivalent training in field 4-6 years of experience in construction or related industry Proven Project Management experience Knowledge of code requirements for specialty trade systems and their integration into overall facility or project plans Ability to follow written and verbal direction Detail-oriented Strong organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to coordinate activities of groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency
