Position Overview
This role severs in an ongoing partnership with customers, maintaining in-depth knowledge of business operations, strategies, information requirements, and priorities. The group is tasked with building positive and active partnerships across the client enterprise and is responsible for the coordination of various data integration processes across multiple functional areas and business lines. Collaborates with various technology areas to create solutions is data transfer that meets business needs.
What You'll Do
Configures and supports MFT (managed file transfer) processes, including job scheduling, data orchestration design and development, SFTP host and client connections, encryption keys, scripting, and API integrations for business projects and processes to quickly meet business needs
Maintains data transfer related servers and software to ensure efficiency and security
Collaborates with cross-departmental internal and external technology and business teams to ensure effective and efficient large project delivery, and with business leaders and clients to deliver products and services based on highest business value and customer demand.
Formulates approaches that achieve desired business objectives, including defining system scope and objectives and assisting with business case justification
Participates in complex product introductions that rely on data transfer projects and is responsible for implementation and execution of project related tasks
Develops product workflows for new products and services for customers and internal clients as well as processes / procedures, to current team capabilities and software, in a fashion that can be consumed by both technical and business level resources
Other duties as assigned including but not limited to ensuring data related services and projects are being delivered according to business needs
Qualifications
3+ years of demonstrated experience engineering, developing, and supporting MFT solutions; Strong experience using protocols and technologies such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, and secure file transfer methodologies; Understanding of encryption algorithms and cyphers (PGP, SFTP/SSH, etc.), secure file transfer practices, networking, network protocols, firewalls, and how they relate to MFT; Experience configuring API integrations; Strong scripting experience with PowerShell or Python, or a comparable scripting language
Bachelor level degree in a technology related or analytical area (i.e. Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or MBA
3 + years of demonstrated experiences and subject matter expertise in Data Management related services and capabilities to include data integrations actual implementations / management of data disciplines; Working knowledge and experiences in how data is utilized and impacted by and in other technologies (i.e., Mobile applications and server technologies)
4+ years' experience in using business productivity tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Visio to communicate how capabilities create a solution
Working experience in Systems Development Life Cycle; knowledge of Agile Methodologies
