3rd Shift Custodian
LOCATION : Kent, OH
WAGE : $25.66 + Shift Differential
HOURS: M-F, 11:00PM - 7:00 AM
QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent education, record keeping, and previous related experience preferred. Able to perform the essential physical duties and requirements of the job.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years of custodian experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The custodian is responsible for the maintenance of a safe and sanitary work environment and equipment:
1. Maintains cleanliness of lunchroom, hallways, men and women's restrooms, including sanitation of sinks, toilets and urinals, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing walls, windows, ceilings, doors, and vacuuming areas as according to schedule. Maintenance of carpeting and vinyl flooring throughout the plant. Completion of daily and weekly sanitizing and cleaning of drains.
2. Empties all trash containers in lunch room, hallways, and locker rooms. Completes cleaning of offices, including vacuuming, dusting, windows, and emptying trash.
3. Daily cleaning of the lab floor and emptying trash.
4. Replenishes sink towels and refills soap dispensers, cleans sinks and drinking fountains in production areas.
5. Orders cleaning supplies.
6. Maintains running inventory of cleaning supplies, hairnets, and paper goods.
7. Assists with break relief as needed.
8. Knowledgeable of the union contract, attendance policy, work rules, GMP's, appropriate behavior in the workplace, safety, and all other policies/rules set forth by Land O'Lakes.
9. Responsible to adhere to quality system requirements. Ensure that all duties are performed according to company regulatory policies for GMPs.
10. Performs all other job duties in a safe and efficient manner. Comply with all policies and practices on safety. Report any safety issues or accidents immediately to a manager or supervisor.
11. In accordance with the contract, depending upon operational requirements, the employee may be expected to work more than eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours in a given work week.
12. Performs all other job duties as assigned.
