Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assists with the design, development, and administration of compensation plans for PBV. Supports and maintains the competitiveness of PBV's pay grades and compensation plans, together with the Compensation & Benefits Manager, through regular research, analysis, and evaluation of market data/trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Serves as the point of contact to HR partners and department leaders for compensation-related inquiries.
- Conducts job and market analyses using job questionnaires and various market data resources.
- Maintains company incentive programs.
- Administers the annual merit process together with the Comp & Ben Manager.
- Works with the Comp & Ben Manager and HRIS team to update and maintain the compensation module in Workday HRIS, including job profile and pay grade data.
- Maintains and distributes pay grades and Comp Guidelines manual.
- Cross trains with and serves as primary backup to the Benefits Specialist.
- Manages benchmarking compensation survey participation.
- Researches and provides guidance regarding federal/state/local regulatory compliance concerning compensation (i.e. FLSA).
- Occasionally required to travel to PBV facilities and/or offsite meetings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field and a minimum of three (3+) years of compensation experience.
- World at Work CCP/GRP or similar certification preferred.
- Experience with Workday HRIS preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional organization skills and must be detail orientated.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal relationship and customer service skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee and company information in a confidential manner.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Mental Functions:
Non-repetitive and somewhat diversified job requiring continuous mental alertness or very close visual attention.
Physical Functions:
Constantly (67%-100%) required to sit. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to walk, stand, climb, and lift less than 25 pounds.
EQUIPMENT USED
Computer/ keyboard, Microsoft Office applications, telephone, common office equipment, and vehicle.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES
None required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
