VP, Finance FP&A (Project Management)
Job Summary
The VP, Commercial FP&A is the primary finance partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. This role is responsible for leading the Commercial/Marketing Finance function to deliver strategic planning, forecasting, and financial modeling for the business. This position will be instrumental in assisting sales leadership to design initiatives and track results for Medline's growth trajectory related to customer acquisition, existing customer growth and selling expense investment. This role owns the US Segment Net Sales narrative for business performance and long-term planning/forecasting, presenting to internal and external stakeholders. The right person for this role will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that is poised for high growth. The best candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, a driver of change, and an influential leader.This role reports to the SVP – Global FP&A.
This role partners closely with various business groups and functions to provide insights and identify business opportunities based on the understanding and interpretation of financial and non-financial information.
This role provides leadership to FP&A teams leading the identification, prioritization and execution of financial analysis and planning/forecasting activities.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with executive level business partners to develop enterprise-wide strategic initiatives designed to improve profitability.
Partner with executive level business partners to develop support for capital allocation and investment strategies.
Partner with executive level business partners to support key assumptions to enterprise forecasting cycles (long range plan, annual operating plan and intra-year outlooks).
Analyze company financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis and provide key business drivers and insights to Corporate FP&A, Investor Relations, CFO, private equity sponsors and business partners.
Represent the broader Finance organization as a change agent for strategic initiatives and/or new technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 15 years of Finance/Accounting experience
At least 10 years of Finance/Accounting leadership experience within a large, matrixed, global organization
Experience applying advanced knowledge of finance and finance business processes
Experience with financial modeling and return on investment analysis
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various levels of audiences within an organization
Experience working with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$267,280.00 - $400,920.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
