Internal Audit Intern (Finance)
Worthington Steel's Summer Internship Program is a 12-week program that starts at the end of May and runs through early August. During the 12-week program
interns will spend part of their time completing a business-driven project. These assignments could range from generating ideas for product and/or process improvement
to developing a standardized playbook for a specific role or process within the Company. Worthington Steel is not responsible for providing supplemental housing for students.
Join our team as an Internal Audit intern. This role conducts Sarbanes-Oxley
financial
and operational control testing through execution of audit programs by obtaining
analyzing
and evaluating evidentiary data to form objective conclusions and generate recommendations.
Responsibilities
evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
identifies root cause of any noted issues
and reports audit findings to Internal Audit department management with recommendations for corrective actions.
findings documents
internal audit comment memos
internal policies
etc.
major events within the Company
and general business/economic developments to contribute to the identification of potential impacts to the department and its work.
cooperating with management and other staff
