Billing Specialist (Administrative)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the sales department to resolve disputed items on sales orders and service department to ensure progress billings/revenue are treated appropriately
Prepare and process sales orders, service orders/projects, invoices, and expense reports
Monitor and track incoming order accuracy and participate in weekly cross departmental review and process improvement meetings
Enter order from CRM system into ERP with high degree of accuracy
Validate and process tax exemption certificates and assist in maintaining tax exempt certificate database
Field and respond to customer inquiries
Research and solve customer payment discrepancies

Must comply with Company vaccination policy
Not eligible for hire in Colorado
Ability to follow DI's policies and procedures and system usage practices
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree or 3+ years relevant work experience
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use.
Preferred skills and experience:
In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:
Working knowledge/experience with NetSuite, Avalara and/or Salesforce
Supervision Level
This person reports directly to the Director of Accounting.
