Role reports to: Sr. Director NA Procurement

Location: Kenvue is currently in the process of moving its Global Headquarters from Skillman, NJ to Summit, NJ. This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period of time during the transition that you must report to Skillman, NJ.

Travel: 10%

Pay: $144,000-$247,825

What you will do

The Director, External Manufacturing Procurement, Self Care North America will partner closely with global category leaders as well as senior stakeholders across NA supply chain and commercial to ensure business and procurement critical programs are developed, deployed, and delivered seamlessly. Person will also ensure NA procurement KPI are industry leading and delivered across categories in line with aligned priorities. In this role, together with team, a successful candidate will develop and implement procurement policies and procedures, establish strategic supplier relationships, negotiate long-term contracts, drive operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Selfcare supply chain NA and ensure Procurement strategies meet the business needs and are adopted within the business
• Lead or support major strategic negotiations with external manufacturers
• Deliver against performance targets on NA Selfcare External Manufacturing Procurement KPI.
• Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance procurement capabilities
• Identify Consumer industry trends that Procurement must build into its category strategies to ensure sustainable relevance to the Consumer business.
• Leverage and maximize fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including the utilization of world class digital solutions, use of business process outsourcing, and deployment of internal resources
• Lead, recruitment and coach world-class talent.
• Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What we are looking for

• 10 years of experience in direct procurement categories required (packaging, chemicals, external manufacturing) in the fast-moving consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree is required, an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills at the senior executive level, as well as with peers
• Broad-based understanding of core procurement areas of focus (spend management, category management, and supplier management)
• P&L ownership/management experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholders and leading teams through organizational transformation
• Demonstrated experience in the development, deployment, and execution of business or procurement strategies/programs
• Proven track record delivering against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators (KPIs) is required

• Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $144,000-$247,825. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
