Requirements and Description
ERMC Aviation is seeking an Overhead Door Technician.
Our staff of capable technicians will meet your economic demands and cover structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and control issues for terminals, hangars, and various administrative buildings.
In this role, you will respond to service requests to install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot industrial/commercial overhead doors, sectional doors, rolling steel doors, operators, and dock equipment.
Requirements:
• Perform service, maintenance, repair and installation on: Commercial/Industrial doors.
• Provide information and recommend improvements to customers.
• Performing general preventative maintenance including greasing and lubing of dock and door equipment and ensuring clean levelers and proper tension on overhead doors.
• Recommending the correct service and repair actions for all faults.
• Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs; warranty procedures and other duties as assigned.
• Assists other Technicians in installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Must be able to read codes, instructions and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical circuits.
• Manage work orders for each job in a timely manner.
• Perform safety assessments and maintain a high standard of safe work practices and quality control.
Standard qualifications:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
