Maintenance Tech II - Friday-Monday (Maintenance)
Summary: The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities Level 1:
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal,
state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements
• Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with
minimal interference with production
• Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during
machine service
• Maintain good housekeeping in all areas
• Handle company equipment with care
• Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed
• Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support
Manager
Responsibilities Level 2:
Perform responsibilities associated with a Level 1 Maintenance Technician as well as the following:
* Inspects condition of equipment and components for proper maintenance under warranty agreements.
* Assists with identifying equipment deficiencies and helps to prevent further recurrences.
* Identifies faulty equipment and acquires parts and requests parts and equipment to complete repairs.
* Ability to use electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, infrared scanning equipment and other tools as necessary for servicing equipment.
Qualifications Level 2:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience
* Must be proficient in using the Orizon Aerostructures Work Order System.
* Demonstrate high degree of industrial mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities.
* Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
