Marketing Manager- Residence Life & Housing (Finance)
1. Manages the daily operations of the department's marketing and outreach services, including supervision of staff.
2. Markets and promotes services to potential clients by phone, mail and visits.
3. Develops proposals and appropriate budgets for multiple sales contracts.
4. Develops and implements policies and procedures for best practices to ensure quality client services.
5. Designs promotional materials and presentations for sales operations.
6. Researches and analyzes trends in student housing, conference and wedding services.
7. Develops on-going assessment of multiple areas of services; formulates related goals and objectives.
8. Represents the department at professional conferences, trade shows, meetings, etc.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

Job Overview:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing marketing projects, campaigns, and initiatives for the Department of Student Housing & Residential Life and Housing (SHRL) utilizing a project management application. This includes overseeing the creation of promotional materials, executing outreach strategies, and managing event marketing for on-campus housing and conference services. The role involves close collaboration with a MarCom Team that includes a Photographer/Videographer, Graphic Designer, Communications Manager and Student Workers, ensuring the timely and effective execution of marketing projects. The Marketing Manager will direct the efforts of these team members to produce high-quality content and maintain alignment with department objectives.
