ROLE OVERVIEW: Respond to customer inquiries via telephone or email to provide problem resolution in accordance with the Organization's service standards. Under more direct supervision and oversight. First-level response to basic and routine customer problems and needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in-person to provide basic-level support and simple information on products or services.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Communicates pricing, shipping dates, and appropriate order information to customers to ensure order fulfillment and satisfaction.
- Contacts customers to respond to simple inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
- Supports inside and outside sales.
- Acts as front desk support, answering telephones, sending, receiving, and routing mail, and answering inquiries from colleagues and visitors. Updates and maintains files, including data entry.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the coordinator's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate colleagues.
- Inventory- starting and closing out EOM cycle counts and running weekly exception reports.
- Payroll—May assist with approving timecards.
- May serve as backup for HR on occasion, assisting with transactional tasks in Workday and other HR applications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses 1-2 years of experience and a high school diploma.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- MS Office (Word, Excel) and various ERP Systems knowledge required.
- Experience using basic office equipment (i.e. copiers, calculators, etc.).
- Excellent organization and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with HR duties preferred.
