Manager, Audit (Finance)

Lands' End is seeking qualified candidates with a proven track record in technical accounting, finance, and internal audit. As Manager, Audit you will have opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, broadening your professional exposure and experiences.

Initial responsibilities focus on the following:

1. 1. 1. Designing and testing operational processes and controls related to the August 2025 SAP implementation
      2. Conducting operational reviews of new Lands' End businesses
      3. Performing due diligence on M&A targets
      4. Managing all aspects of IT audit conducted by outsource provider, Protiviti.  

• Corporate Management – Learn and master the responsibilities of managing department functions and the performance and career tracks of employees.
• Sarbanes Oxley – Perform the planning and execution of internal audit testing and remediation follow-up with CFO, CIO and external auditors to ensure compliance by the fiscal year-end.
• SAP Implementation – Learn and master the operational and control processes required in an SAP implementation. 
• Internal Audit – Design and plan operational audit projects with a view towards optimizing efficiency risk and financial risk.   
• Relationship Management – Develop deeper relationships within the organization to identify business risks and help mitigate.  Be seen as a trustworthy business advisor within Lands' End.
• Ability to travel 10%
• Ability to be on-site in Dodgeville, WI 2 weeks per month

Skills:

• Strong foundation in technical accounting and finance.
• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to build effective partnerships at all levels across the organization.
• Specific experience with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, operational risk/control reviews, and investigations.
• Must possess strong project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects, staff and associated priorities.
• Understanding of company strategy and business plans and spread that understanding internally.
• Must possess the highest professional and personal standards, unquestioned integrity, and business ethics.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in audit and control functions; Big 4 Accounting Firm experience a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
