Your Role: Maintenance Supervisor
Supervise maintenance staff and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and production equipment.
Your Responsibilities:
Supervise and assist maintenance staff in preventative maintenance and equipment repairs, utilizing the plant's CMMS for scheduling work orders (including emergency and preventative maintenance).
Maintain and operate facility equipment, including boilers, HVAC systems, purified water systems, air compressors, wastewater treatment, and other building systems.
Provide production support and maintenance for production equipment, such as tanks, mixers, reactors, pumps, filters, washers, sterilizers, filling equipment, and solids processing equipment.
Operate and maintain facility purified water systems, assist in the construction and validation of a cGMP manufacturing facility, and operate a forklift and personnel lift.
Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by the CMMS, complete required training (including SOPs, lock-out/tag-out, confined space, and fall protection), and work evening and night shifts.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance and repair.
Person should also have or be willing to obtain an EPA refrigerant certification.
What Will Give You the Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in pharmaceutical plant maintenance and calibration.
Experience with PLC (Programmed Logic Controller) troubleshooting, programing, and wiring.
Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing maintenance and documentation
Previous industrial plant safety training is preferred.
Previous experience with utilizing a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is preferred.
Experience with the SAP asset management is preferred
Additional Information:
The position requires the employee to come to the site in Elwood, KS Monday through Friday during evening/night shift with occasional weekend/holiday work as required.
There will be days when the employee is required to work longer than 8 hours depending on the workload.
Employee will be required to lift heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Employee will be required to climb ladders and work on the rooftop of the building.
