Human Resource Assistant (Human Resources)
Assists department in carrying out various human resources events.
Performs data entry process of hiring new employees into HRIS, including but not limited to:
Personal information, profile setting, department and manager assignments, picture import, verifying Federal I-9, Photo Release Policy and Cintas Enrollments.
Performs process of terminating an employee on the administration side.
Completing weekly payroll checklist
Responsible for drafting communications for the company when needed.
Greeting visitors and employees as they come into Human Resources department.
Answering the Human Resources Support line and fielding calls accordingly, addressing questions and employee needs.
Assist with employee needs/questions including, but not limited to:
Maintains security by following company procedures of maintaining visitor sign in and issuing visitor badges.
Employee Identification
Updates all Federal and State required postings.
Supports Recruiting efforts, including but not limited to
Phone Screens
Background Checks
Drug Screens
Orientation support
Provides Employment Verifications over the phone
Makes photocopies, faxes documents, files and scans documents, shreds documents, and performs other clerical functions.
Coordinator for all company retirements
Coordinates all Employee Appreciation Events.
Demonstrates a 'service orientation'; actively seeks new ways to assist others.
Other duties or assignments as required by management to support the team and organization's objectives.
