Job Summary Supports the execution of successful inbound marketing campaigns for attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing those leads to close into customers, the latter of which sales team will help accomplish. Nurtures social media accounts by implementing tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company. Maintains command of best practices and trends in inbound marketing, utilizes creativity, and understands how to both build and convert a digital audience. This role reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager and has no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Develop content for lead and demand generation campaigns, social, and blog posts aimed at driving online visibility, conversions, and user engagement.
Manage and ability to execute marketing automation and email campaigns
Building out landing pages, workflows, creating rules for email list segmentation, etc.
Update website content on computer.org and for all conference clients
Execute on-page SEO tactics.
Contribute to the editorial calendar for driven content and the creative production process.
Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
Work alongside other marketers and to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence and other marketing channels.
Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
Grow our email list organically and through paid channels, not through bought or rented lists.
Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends. Specifically, all drip campaigns associated with attracting and converting traffic.
Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for various segments to convert leads into customers.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications Req
Work Experience
Less than 2 years 1-3 years of experience in search engine, digital, or inbound marketing. Req
Skills and Requirements
Extremely organized and great at prioritizing and managing deadlines. Intermediate And
Knowledge of and ability to learn and gain certifications in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and moz.com. Beginner And
Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and public speaking/presentation skills. Beginner And
Proficiency in using social media and social media software to monitor social media conversations. Intermediate And
Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite and blogging. Beginner And
Experience in various Microsoft Office Suite software applications Intermediate And
Working knowledge of search engine optimization and online marketing.
Familiarity with content creation for digital platforms is strongly desired. Beginner And
