Job Description Summary
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is hiring for a newly created role, the Director of the Financial Crisis Response Forum. The Director will launch and implement the Forum, which will facilitate a range of policy and research initiatives related to financial crises. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader or expert from industry, academia or a regulatory environment to serve in a high-profile leadership role to bring together practitioner, research, and policy expertise in new and impactful ways for the policy community at large.
The Director will be part of the Financial Markets Group, which is focused on advancing financial policy and robust market practices to promote the stability of the U.S. financial system. As part of this multidisciplinary and collaborative team of professionals, the Director also will engage in broader policy research. The team is part of the Research, Policy, and Public Engagement function.
