Job Description: Ridgeway Post Acute is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces according to established procedures
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored
- Assist with laundry and linen services as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of infections
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or janitor preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe use
- High school diploma or equivalent
