Staff Accountant (Association) (Finance)

The YMCA of the Fox Cities is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant. As Staff Accountant in the largest YMCA association in the state, you will see firsthand how much you and the Y can make an impact. Our work involves supporting all aspects of accounting and financial management. You will have responsibilities in tracking contributions including restricted funding, preparing journal entries, completing cash and general ledger reconciliations, and supporting annual budget and audit work. This role is ideal for those with non-profit accounting experience and an interest in working on a variety of functions.

Job Duties:
Specialize in contributions including tracking, reporting, and process implementation for unrestricted and restricted contributions, government grants, United Way funding, and other community supportReconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basisPrepare journal entriesResearch and correct account discrepanciesContribute to annual audit and budget preparationBe a resource to YMCA staff on financial matters including budgeting, reporting, and researching variances

This is a full-time position within our Corporate team, located at our downtown Appleton branch.
