Tenant Lease Administrator, Real Estate - Lakeland (Real Estate)
The purpose of this position is to abstract, analyze and maintain all lease and other legal data and information for tenants and subtenants within our company controlled shopping centers and to ensure compliance with contractual obligations of their lease. Responsibilities include:
Set up and activation of contracts in the Real Estate computer system, Compass
Set up, maintenance, and ongoing administration of shopping center and tenant data in Compass
Tracking, calculating, and commencing all tenant leases in accordance with the legal documents
Tracking all tenant lease expiration dates and other critical dates in accordance with the legal documents
Coordinating and preparing standard correspondence and transmitting the information to appropriate departments
Set up, maintenance, and ongoing administration of electronic and hard copy files associated with tenant leases and legal documents
Utilizing Compass to develop and maintain reports and reporting procedures
Handling miscellaneous duties, such as:
Acting as a liaison between the Real Estate Department and other Publix departments regarding lease data and lease interpretation
Creating and maintaining procedural guides related to Compass and Tenant Lease Administration processes
Training and assisting associates with the use of Compass and tenant lease documents
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year experience with Microsoft Windows applications (Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Must be currently working with database reporting and querying
Knowledge and understanding of legal, Real Estate and general business terminology
Research skills including the ability to interpret and comprehend legal documents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose written communications/documentation
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to process a high volume of work accurately

Ability to handle stressful situations with good human relation skills and the ability to work well with others and be a team player

Must have excellent judgment and problem solving skills
Associate's degree or higher with formal training related to databases, including creation, design, and reporting
Experience in database creation/design including forms, queries, and reports
Prior experience in the legal or real estate field
Knowledge of Publix's systems, including SAP and Compass
