Operations Superintendent (Project Management)

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of our project operations. What You'll Do:
As an Operations Superintendent, you will:
Manage Operations: Plan, organize, and supervise project activities to meet production goals and timelines.
Ensure Safety: Enforce safety procedures, lead regular safety training, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Lead Teams: Hire, mentor, and evaluate crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Oversee Equipment: Manage and operate forestry equipment, train employees, and ensure proper maintenance.
Drive Efficiency: Develop strategies, allocate resources, and maintain project budgets.
Collaborate: Work with internal teams, government regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
2+ years in a supervisory role.
3+ years as a heavy equipment operator (forestry equipment preferred).
Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and safely operate forestry equipment.
Travel:
This position involves travel outside the local area approximately 50% of the time, primarily within Northern California.

Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred).
Clean driving record for the past 5 years.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
