Community Housing Educator - Transitional Living Program (Personal Services)
LifeWorks of Austin, TX is looking for a part time Community Housing Educator to join our team! The Community Housing Educator provides life skills education to clients in the Transition Living Program (TLP) through group facilitation and individual sessions. The Community Housing Educator conducts life skills training sessions focused on interpersonal relationships, independent living, community engagement, and financial stability. Additionally, this role engages with clients in their apartments to support the application of these skills, assesses their living environments, and provides feedback on their learning and development. The Community Housing Educator collaborates closely with other program staff to coordinate additional services.
This position is currently scheduled for 10 hours per week, evening hours. Potential to increase hours in the future may be possible. This position earns a competitive starting rate of $24.86-$27.17/hr depending upon experience.
