Design, install, and configure database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
Ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery processes are in place and regularly tested.
Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database schemas and support application requirements.
Manage and maintain data integrations and ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data flow between systems.
Support reporting tools like Power BI and ArcGIS by optimizing data queries and providing necessary data structures.
Lead data migration efforts, including mapping, cleansing, and validating data for external platforms.
Document database architectures, configurations, and procedures for internal use and compliance purposes.
Stay updated on the latest database technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
Provide technical support and training to other team members and end users on database-related topics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
