Global Foresight Excellence Manager (Maintenance)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced consumer insights leader to join our newly created Global Insights Excellence team. This team is tasked with transforming K-C's consumer insights and foresights capabilities, so we can become an even more consumer-centric enterprise. As the Manager, Global Consumer Foresights Excellence, you will be responsible for shaping K-C's consumer insights and foresights vision and strategy, developing and implementing world class methodologies, and aligning K-C's global organization to this new vision and approach. You will partner with internal and external insights professionals to develop and scale capabilities that put the changing needs and behaviors of consumers at the center of decision-making in a manner that drives business growth and innovation.
In this role, you will:
With your team leader, the Global Head of Insights Methodologies and Governance, develop K-C's consumer insights and foresights vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap to build world-class capabilities.
Deliver a regular drumbeat of inspiring consumer trends & foresights to guide strategy, marketing, innovation, investor comms, etc.
Gather and synthesize (with the help of AI) internal and external data on changing consumer demographics, needs, shopping and media behaviors, values, mindsets, culture, etc. and turn these data into powerful insights and recommendations to grow the business.
Create inspiring communication to drive adoption throughout the organization, including presentations, workshops, digital learning modules, etc.
Contribute to the capability roadmap for best-in-class methodologies and governance across both insights and foresights.
Drive common global capabilities and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across sectors and segments. Capture K-C best practices and facilitate scaling those practices globally.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities & challenges and align the insights & foresights capability development agenda to address these business needs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that insights and new capabilities are effectively communicated and acted upon.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in consumer insights and foresights to ensure that our research strategies remain innovative and effective.
Drive innovation approaches to insight development, usage and deployment.
Key areas of focus to include:
Demographic, consumer, shopper, societal and cultural trends
Unstructured consumer and competitive data, e.g. social listening, ratings & reviews, etc.
Applications of (generative) AI for consumer insights and foresight
Foundational human insights (human truth)
Understanding of consumer and shopper needs and behaviors and their underlying drivers
Innovation development & optimization (concepts, claims, products)
Brand strategy, positioning and health/equity measurement
Creative development of optimization (communication and packaging)
Contributes to a consumer-centric culture, e.g. through education and socialization of consumer insights and foresights and the promotion of consumer-centric thinking
Promotes a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and partnership across the organization.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (Masters preferred) and a total of 5+ years of experience in the consumer insights/foresights space
3+ years of experience working with trends resources and unstructured data is required.
3+ years of direct experience leading, designing, executing, and reporting primary market research in a consumer goods company or a related B2C industry is required.
Hands-on experience with applying (generative) AI for consumer insights is strongly preferred.
Strong curiosity about understanding current and future consumers and the drivers of change
Ability to analyze, distill and integrate multiple data sources into strategic recommendations.
Proven ability to effectively communicate insights, trends and capabilities in inspiring and modern ways, e.g. via presentations, workshops, video, audio, online learning modules, etc.
Comfortable working in "white space" to establish new capabilities, processes and innovations, especially in the space of AI.
Contributing to building a high-performing team that develops strong partnerships with stakeholders and encourages professional growth. Committed to creating a fun and rewarding work environment.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $174,000 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position is eligible for overtime pay and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
Kimberly-Clark will support in-country relocation for the chosen candidate for the role. The benefits provided will be per the terms of Kimberly-Clark's applicable mobility policies. The benefits/policy provided will be decided at Kimberly-Clark's sole discretion.
