JOB DESCRIPTION
The Wellness Program Intern will work with the Wellness Team to implement City-wide wellness programming. Interns will engage in needs assessments; program development and program implementation. Interns will assist with administrative roles associated with the development and implementation of our City-wide Wellness Program. Interns will also help maintain the internal Wellness website on SharePoint, Wellness e-newsletters, and various other communication tools. Interns may also assist with large wellness programs and projects such as health screenings, and the Well Days Incentive Program.
Note to Applicants: This position is for the summer semester, January - June 2025.
LOCATION
Required:
Completed Bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science or equivalent experience

LOCATION 215 N. Mason Street, 2nd floor, HR Dept & 700 Wood St, Utilities Service Center PRIMARY ACTIVITIES Assist with program marketing Plan and implement a multi-week incentive program Assist with planning and conducting large wellness events Work with City departments on their wellness needs. Maintain the Wellness website Conduct fitness room orientations and stretch sessions
