Responsible for supervising all Technicians within Divisions 8, 10 & 28. Focused on supervision, training, and addressing and resolving complex personnel and technical challenges.
Essential Functions
• Supervises, mentors, coaches, and trains a team of Leads and Technicians. Monitors work levels and reviews work performance.
• Assists with performance reviews and interviews.
• Communicates daily with Lead Technicians. Serves as a subject matter expert and offers guidance on current practices and standards and remedies for challenges and issues.
• Engages Technicians regularly to identify resource needs, ideas for continuous improvement and development opportunities (Manufacturer/Vendor Factory Certified Training and other on-the-job training).
• Collaborates with Project Managers to ensure Leads at project start and assess and adjust labor, as necessary.
• Inspects and monitors job sites and addresses and corrects violations of procedures or standards.
• Aids in the implementation/roll out of plans, policies and programs that improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Coordinates with Project Managers and Service to determine field needs (skill sets, tools, equipment, and other resources required to complete jobs within time and budgetary constraints). Collaborates to resolve any current and potential issues.
• Participates in Tech/PM/Sales hand-off meetings as needed.
• Works primarily out in the Field Daily with Leads and is in a mobile role to be able to travel from job to job if necessary to ensure execution of tasks and production by all Leads and Level 1-4 Technicians.
• Holds post quality assurance meetings with respective Project Managers and Technicians.
• Contributes information for reports for management or other administrative areas regarding such subjects as work plans and activities, personnel issues, and operational problems.
• Ensures that all Division 8 Projects are meeting deadlines with technicians and ensures technicians are following company standards on production and SOP.
• Escalates any detrimental issues with projects to management.
• Performs other duties and special projects as required and assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Demonstrates superior seamless customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three years of increasingly responsible experience in the field, including a minimum of 1 year of experience at a Lead or Supervisor level.
• Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently
• Experience using power tools, such as saws and drills
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

• Perform a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over others.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public.
• Ability to meet attendance standards with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
• Ability to determine what type of tool and equipment are needed for a job
Physical Demands
Spends majority of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands and reaching. Frequent lifting required of items 25-50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Work Environment
May be exposed to variable weather conditions. Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Worker is subject to frequent heavy lifting.
