Join the Publix Technology Settlement Team as a Sr Software Engineer/Lead Software Engineer where you will be part of an agile team developing modern applications using various methods, tools, and technologies. You will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams and product management. As a technologist, you will write user stories and groom product backlog items to develop features that consider a frictionless user experience while leading the delivery of lasting contributions to Publix corporate associates.
The most suitable hire for this position will be a technical candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers. We are looking for someone with agile development and delivery experience. Additionally, the candidate would be familiar with all aspects of delivering software using agile best practices such as - test-driven development, code refactoring, CI/CD, simple code design, pair programming, and a common codebase using cloud technologies.
