Hospitalist, Pediatric (Finance)
The clinical practice involves teaching categorical pediatrics hospital medicine fellows and residents from the University of Florida-Jacksonville, family-medicine residents from affiliated institutions, and medical students from UF and Mayo Jacksonville. Faculty have access to all medical and surgical specialties and numerous ancillary services. In 2021, we welcomed our first PHM fellow and have matched our fourth fellow to start in July 2024.
PHM faculty serve in many leadership roles in the hospital, residency program, utilization management, and clinical operations. Faculty are part of the VIP network and are involved in multi-site projects.
Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics or PHM and able to obtain an unrestricted FL license.
