Corp. Sanitation Program Manager (Finance)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Job is an individual contributor.
• Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.
• Assist the implementation, review, and maintenance of zone sanitation programs, policies, and practices. Maintain standards and ensure they are updated to reflect changing requirements.
• Drives standardization and continuous improvement by monitoring key metrics across facilities and set zone sanitation goals. Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of trends to direct manager.
• Provides technical support to external sanitation contractors on program standards and performance expectations.
• Provides technical assistance to facility quality assurance personnel and sanitation to solve cleaning and microbiological issues. Drives knowledge sharing and communication across the facility network by hosting meetings.
• Supports food safety responses as requested by providing sanitation and hygienic design expertise in a variety of activities including investigations, coaching, and training.
• Conducts sanitation and hygienic design audits and executes any needed follow-up for FSQA improvement
• When requested by direct manager, serves as sanitation liaison to a variety of external individuals including customer visits where facility sanitation is evaluated, sanitation vendors, and third-party sanitation service providers.
• Assist in maintaining relationships with sanitation chemical and equipment suppliers to maintain the latest and most current information on the state of food safety, industry direction and food sanitation issues that affect the operations of the Company.
• Work with the global sanitation team, when requested, to update policies, standards, guidance documents and propose new or updated sanitation initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
Preferred Education
• BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
• Microbiology, food science, engineering, or related field, preferred.
• Experience in lieu of education is strongly considered.
Work Environment:
• Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor (may depend on the role).
• Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.
• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
• Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Greater than 4 hours.
