The Performance Management Director will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, enhancing enterprise performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the enterprise as we work on becoming a highly reliable organization (HRO). This individual will lead strategic clinical operational initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, implementing best practices, and achieving clinical outcomes and effectiveness.Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree. | Master's Degree Preferred. | Minimum Required: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 11 - 15 Years equivalent experience.Process Improvement: • Identify, analyze, and enhance key clinical and business processes to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize improvement and project management methodologies to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies • Partners with operational and clinical leadership to design, co-lead and manage large Performance Improvement (PI) and/or projects using the UC Health PI Way or project management methodology
Performance Measurement: • Partners with system and college leadership by bringing high level expertise in quality to enable teams to successfully achieve outcomes in all facets of the UC Health quality definition to becoming more reliable and eliminating harm. • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve organizational performance. • Accountable for outcomes on work supported • Uses measures, charts, and data with domain to properly display and assure accountability for processes and outcomes • Incorporates experts from Safety/IP/Accreditation/Effectiveness/Project Management as needed • Analyses what is going well and what is going poorly and work with VPs to evaluate and redesign • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate performance insights to leaders
Change Management: • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems. Provide training and support to staff to facilitate smooth transitions. • Works with site and unit based staff
Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work closely with various departments to identify performance gaps and implement solutions. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the organization
Leadership and Mentoring: • Lead and mentor a team of performance excellence professionals. Promote a culture of excellence and accountability within the team
