Main Purpose of the Role
The Program Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive and effective technological and operational solutions across Bioventus, with a focus on enhancing people, processes, data, and technology foundations for scalability. This role will drive strategic initiatives that optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion. The Program Manager will ensure that these initiatives align with strategic organizational objectives and develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:

1. Program Planning and Execution:

• Oversee and lead the planning, coordination, and execution of program initiatives focused on redesigning processes and systems around Demand to Supply (D2S), Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R) for enhanced operational efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee program-level status, metrics, issues, and risks, ensuring successful delivery of all phases, releases, and components.
• Develop and implement action plans integrating ERP solutions, including SAP S4/HANA modules, to optimize end-to-end business processes.

2. Collaboration, Resource Management and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop program scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Manage program and project teams for optimal ROI, coordinating cross-project initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, business process and operations, executive sponsors and external partners.
• Act as a liaison between cross-functional leaders, driving alignment and adoption of program objectives.

3. Requirements and Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and manage key requirements for D2S, O2C, P2P and R2R transformation, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, stakeholder feedback, and process optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

4. Budget and Risk Management:

• Develop and manage budgets for core and related projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other project managers and cross-functional leaders to identify and mitigate risks and leverage opportunities across multiple functional areas.
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce high quality, data-driven program reports and analytics, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.

5. Team Leadership

• Indirectly lead and oversee multiple project teams, ensuring all program goals are achieved.
• Manage and resolve escalations promptly, ensuring smooth project delivery, stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with program priorities.

6. Strategic Leadership, Governance and Change Management

• Define the vision and strategic goals for the program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and driving strategic growth.
• Lead without authority with cross functional teams to identify new areas of growth and pursuit, formulate ideas, brainstorm possible avenues of strategic success and drive alignment and adoption of program objectives.
• Establish a governance framework and manage a program dashboard for executive visibility and decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, internal policies, procedures, and controls. Ensuring system implementations and processes changes are well controlled and documented, including complying with required system development lifecycle controls
• Partner with Change Management resource to develop and implement a Change Management Strategy.

7. End-user Training, Change and Stakeholder Management

• Leads organizational change management functions for the project (delivers quality communications to the end-user community on the why, what to expect, and when, ensuring stakeholders are well-integrated and understand their role and impact).
• Creates and delivers impactful and comprehensive end-user training.
• Other duties and projects assigned.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, engineering, information technology, etc.). MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in medical device manufacturing or related, including a minimum 5-7 years' advanced project management.
• Strong understanding of ERP solutions, particularly SAP S/4HANA modules relevant to D2S, O2C, P2P, and R2R processes.
• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and strategic growth.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency to ensure timely follow-through.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in key program management knowledge areas such as Program Management Lifecycle, Change Management, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management, Integration Management, Program Governance is required.
