How You Will Make an Impact?
The Director of National Accounts is responsible for the management of major fleet accounts in the US and Canada. This individual serves as the primary contact at the executive level of major customer accounts. The position requires cross-functional teaming with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and finance, and JBPCO Business Units.
The Nuts and Bolts
This position is responsible for:
Leading the implementation of sales strategies aimed at the acquisition of new customers and increase penetration with existing customers. The Director of National Accounts is expected to operate at both strategic and tactical level and develop close relationships with fleet primary decision makers at their headquarters as well as at the regional level.
Position Description
Required Credentials
1. College degree, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing national accounts in the transportation industry.
3. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
4. Effective communication and presentation skills.
5. Analytical and data driven.
6. Strong negotiation skills with all levels of management.
7. Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams.
You Must Be Able to
Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday.
