Software Engineering Senior Advisors (Finance)
Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines, including full life
cycle project ownership from analysis to application development to delivery of IT solutions. Design and build data layers used for reporting, analytics, data exploration, and data processing pipelines/solutions. Develop stable and scalable systems aligned to established architecture guidelines and patterns. Analyze business requirements, gap analysis, and data profiling of existing extract, transform and load (ETL) jobs. Enable reporting capabilities through the creation of new data structures as per the requirements of business and reporting teams within areas such as pharmacy claims, medical claims, membership eligibility, etc. Build automated solutions for data quality checks, Audit Balance and Controls (ABC), and monitoring processes. Develop data curation pipelines to read data from the enterprise warehouse and create denormalized data objects for reporting data exploration, and dashboards. Present solutions to business stakeholders, solicit feedback, and drive agile development. Enforce modern delivery practices such as continuous integration and behavior/test driven development. Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.
Qualifications
Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or related plus five years of experience in data management or a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or related plus two years of experience in data management. Must have experience within the healthcare domain and experience with Teradata, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, SQL, Shell Scripting, HiveQL, AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda & Databricks), Jenkins, Kafka, GIT, and Agile methodology.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
