Administrative Specialist II (Policy and Community Engagement Specialist) - Hybrid (Personal Services)
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Councils & Commissions Manager, the Administrative Specialist II (Policy and Community Engagement Specialist) leads and designs programmatic, operational, and strategic initiatives to support the work of Councils & Commissions (C&C), the Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC), Oakland Transitional Grant Area Planning Council (OTGA), and the Public Health Commission (PHC). The Administrative Specialist II exercises a high degree of discretion and independent judgment in carrying out assignments that support policy development, community engagement, and cross-council collaboration. This role plays a key part in aligning the efforts of C&C with Alameda County Public Health Department's broader goals for community health improvement and policy advocacy.
Salary range: $74,788.47 - $91,768.38 annually depending on experience/qualifications.

Hybrid with reporting to a general office setting in San Leandro, CA, indoors, temperature controlled.
Occasionally, travel may be required for off-site or community meetings or conferences.
