Role reports to: Manager, Freight pay and Technology
Location: Markham, ON or Skillman, NJ Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ , but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.
Travel %: 10%, primarily North America
What you will do
The Transportation Technology Lead will create strategic initiatives to enhance financial performance, ensure business continuity, and provide exceptional customer experiences. The focus for this role will be to drive data-related solution within the transportation operations team while supporting additional value-added projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- This objective requires the lead to stay well-informed about transportation industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
- Provide recommendations for technology investments, will be aligned with Kenvue's strategy and the IT Demand and Portfolio Management process to prioritize initiatives that will implement the outlined technology strategy.
- The individual will develop process improvement opportunities and collaborate across functions to drive improvements.
- Manage relationships with external service providers as well as can drive process improvements and manage service gaps.
- Escalation issues to upper management with a sense of urgency, proactively demonstrating sense of ownership.
- Support US and Canadian Transportation operations on data reporting and analytical capabilities.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience required.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working on multi-functional teams required.
- Proficiency with MS Suite, including advanced Excel required.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, or PowerBI, etc.) required.
- This position may require up to 10% North America travel.
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to learn and optimize new systems and applications preferred.
- Process Excellence training or certification such as Lean, Six Sigma is preferred.
- Strong project management skills are preferred.
