A Day in the Life

You will be a member of the technology and product development team within the Acute Care Monitoring (ACM) business. Specifically, you will join a high growth R&D team, focued on creating category redefining products that truly address unmet costumer needs. Our team originated from Medtronic's acquisition of Aircraft Medical, which designed the McGrath Mac Video Laryngoscope. The team follows a human-centered design process to deliver thoughtful and inspiring products.

You will work in a cooperative workspace with key cross-functional partners, including designers, design researchers, clinical scientists, marketers, engineers from multiple disciplines, and manufacturing experts, all with a "can do, will do" spirit.

The Senior Systems Engineer will drive adoption and integration of Systems Engineering methodologies in Boulder campus to improve project outcomes including first time quality, customer satisfaction and predictability in time to market and cost. This position applies technical expertise towards systems solutions of complex technical problems and provides solutions that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed with some direction and latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. The role will collaborate with cross-function team members to drive consistent application of Systems Engineering practices across the organization with a goal of driving fast product development.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$104,800.00 - $157,200.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
