Radiologic/CT Technologist is a member of our healthcare team and is in good standings with their professional required organization. He/She assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of quality care as outlined. Job Duties: Operates all radiographic and/or fluoroscope equipment according to manufacture guidelines and determines techniques for appropriate exam with attention to age specific considerations.Performs all radiographic/fluoroscope procedures in accordance with department policies including surgical and emergency procedure with attention to age specific considerations.Correctly labels each image with personal marker and evaluates for image quality.Correctly scans documents and properly charges exams.Obtains appropriate consents.Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others with attention to age specific considerations.Provides patient education for pre and post exams with attention to age specific consideration.Performs all CT procedures in accordance with department policies with attention to age specific considerations.Correctly uses all functions of CT equipment including printing/sending of images, archiving and storing images using the established methods.Properly administers oral and IV contrast using the CT injector with attention to age specific considerations.Responsible for other duties as assigned by Director of Radiology.
